In his first career track event, Williams set a school record in the 3,000 meter run. His time of 8:55.65 landed him a second place finish, only three seconds behind the winner. He is also the only person to break the nine minute mark in the NAC this season. The next closest person is Andrew Ashenden of CUW with a time of 9:07.14.
