Doherty posted a .579 average in a big week for Edgewood College. Doherty blasted two home runs in a doubleheader against Benedictine, including a three-run blast in the game one victory. The junior collected a hit in all six of the Eagles games and went 3-for-3 with two doubles in a game two victory at Marian on Sunday.
