Nelson, the Eagles normal closer, got the start in the 2021 finale and delivered 7.2 strong innings in a 7-2 win over MSOE. Nelson struck out seven batters and did not allow an earned run, while scattering five hits. The win was the third of the year for the Eagles right-hander.
