Caminiti was named the Track Athlete of the Meet after acquiring 28 of the Eagles 30 points. He won two events and added a runner-up finish in the other over the two days at Raabe Stadium. Caminiti won the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday and the 5,000-meter run Saturday. He finished second in the 1,500-meter run on Saturday.
