Negus became the 19th Edgewood College Men's Basketball player to reach 1,000 career points, accomplishing the feat in a 63-62 win at Concordia Chicago. He followed that with a 24-point, eight-rebound, eight-assist performance at Illinois Tech on Saturday, shooting 69.2 percent from the floor in that contest.
