Ferron was named to the Loras Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team after helping lead the Eagles to a 2-0 start. In her first collegiate game, the freshman scored 23 points in just 19 minutes, shooting 50 percent from the floor and 71.4 percent from3 -point range. Ferron followed that with a seven-point effort against Beloit and also averaged 5.5 rebounds per contest.
