Starting pitcher Adam Eck struck out a career-high 14 batters and did not allow an earned run over seven innings in loss to Wisconsin Lutheran on Sunday. The St. Charles, Ill. native's 14 strikeout effort is second all-time in school history and the most since 2002. Eck leads the NACC with 13.16 strikeouts per 9 innings and ranks third with 39 total strikeouts.
