Nick Cheaney hit the Eagles first home run of the season, a two-run shot, in 1-run loss to Newbury College in game 2. The Oak Creek, Wis. native also posted 3 hits and 3 RBIs in 9-1 win over Newburyin game 1. The designated hitter produced a .318/.318/.545 hit line in seven games (3-4 record) last week and led team with 5 RBIs. Cheaney leads team in batting average (.385), slugging percentage (.615), doubles (3), and RBIs (6) through nine games this season.
