Shannon Whitmus allowed only five earned runs in 17.1 innings (2.02 ERA) over three starts at Finlandia Dome Tournament last weekend. The Verona, Wis. native struck out 10 in three appearances and led the Eagles to their first win of the season, 6-1, over Northland College. She held Northland to one earned run and five hits in seven innings. Whitmus added one triple at the plate.
