Alyse Peters finished with a season-best 25:23 and trailed the winner by less than 16 seconds in fourth-place finish at the UW-Whitewater Invitational. The Fremont, Wis. native was only the second non-WIAC performer in the top-10 and the fastest non-WIAC finisher overall at a UW-Whitewater meet that featured five WIAC schools. It was the first time in her career she has back-to-back Top-5 performances.
