Salmon set an outdoor personal best in the Friday night 5000m (15:56.30) and placed 7th in a competitive field that featured runners from UW-Platteville, UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, and Wartburg at the UW-Platteville Invitational. The Janesville, Wis. native ranks fourth in the NACC in the 5000m.
