Salmon placed runner-up in the 5000m (15:52.99) at the NACC Indoor Championships and also finished seventh in the 3000m (9:18.91). Both times were personal bests for the Janesville, Wis. native as he became the fourth Eagle runner to break 16 minutes in the 5000m. The senior scored 12 of the team's 18 points as their sixth-place finish was the best since 2014.
