Alyssa Carew (Fr., Appleton, Wis.)
The Appleton, Wis. native won both her matches handedly in 9-0 victory over Lakeland and dropped a pair of close affairs to start the week at Concordia Wisconsin. Carew played a three-set thriller at the Falcons, eventually falling 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 10-7 against the NACC preseason favorites. She improved to 6-4 overall in NACC play.
