Aaron Gavin (South Milwaukee, Wis.) placed first with an even-par 72 at the Prairie Fire Invitational, making it his first event win as an Eagle. The junior tamed the 6,522-yard course at Soangetaha Country Club to squeak by teammate Brent Quade and Carthage’s Tyler Wollberg by a single stroke. Gavin led the Eagles to a third place team finish among 12 teams comprised of 80 competitors.
