Sophomore third baseman Sabrina Maicke led all Eagles hitters over a six-game stretch last week with a .429 batting average. She also either led the team or tied for the team lead in hits (9), doubles (3) and RBIs (6). She combined for five hits and five RBIs in a sweep over Lakeland on Monday and had three of the team’s five hits in a loss against Aurora on Sunday. She also hit a three-run home run to spark a comeback in an 11-10 extra-inning win over Lakeland on Monday.
